These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern the Vault Markets Christmas/New Year Trading Championship
("Championship" or "Competition") conducted by Vault Markets (Pty) Ltd ("Vault Markets", "we", "us", or
"the Company"). By registering for or participating in this Championship, you acknowledge that you have
read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. The Company reserves the right, in its absolute
discretion, to amend, modify, or terminate this Championship at any time without prior notice.
1. Championship Period
1.1. Registration for the Championship opens on December 15, 2025.
1.2. The Competition Period runs from December 26, 2025 to January 10, 2026.
1.3. The Final Sprint phase begins on January 6, 2026.
1.4. Winners will be announced on During January 2026.
1.5. The Company reserves the right to extend or shorten the Championship Period at its sole discretion.
2. Competition Tracks
2.1. The Championship consists of TWO distinct competition tracks:

Live Account Championship: For verified Vault Markets clients competing with real trading accounts

Demo Account Challenge: For newcomers competing with demo trading accounts
2.2. Participants may only enter ONE track. Simultaneous participation in both tracks is not permitted.
2.3. Track selection is final and cannot be changed once registration is confirmed.
3. Eligibility and Participation
3.1. Live Account Championship eligibility requirements:
- Must be at least 18 years of age or the legal age of majority in their jurisdiction
- Must hold a fully verified trading account with Vault Markets
- Must be an active client with trading history
- Must be located in a jurisdiction where Vault Markets is legally permitted to operate
3.2. Demo Account Challenge eligibility requirements:
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must create a demo trading account with Vault Markets
- No deposit or account verification required
- Open to new and existing clients
3.3. The following persons are expressly EXCLUDED from participation in BOTH tracks:
• Employees, directors, and officers of Vault Markets and RocketX (Pty) Ltd
• Immediate family members (spouse, parents, children, siblings) of excluded persons
• Any person residing in the same household as excluded persons
• Persons from jurisdictions where such competitions are prohibited by law
4. Competition Entry Requirements
4.1. To qualify for ranking in either track, participants must:
- Trade a minimum of ONE MILLION US DOLLARS ($1,000,000 USD) in total traded volume during the Competition Period
- Finish the competition period with a positive net PnL (in profit)
- Maintain active trading throughout the competition
- Comply with all trading rules, Fair Play Policy, and platform terms of service
4.2. Live Account Championship specific requirements:
• Minimum $1,000,000 USD traded volume required for prize eligibility
• Leaderboard is ranked by total USD traded volume
• All trades must be executed on the participant's verified live account
4.3. Demo Account Challenge specific requirements:
• No deposit required
• Minimum $1,000,000 USD traded volume required for prize eligibility
• All trades must be executed on the participant's demo account
• Starting balance provided by Vault Markets
4.4. Minimum Volume Requirement:
• All participants must trade a minimum of ONE MILLION US DOLLARS ($1,000,000 USD) in total volume during the Competition Period to be eligible for prizes
• Volume is calculated based on total USD value of all trades opened during the competition
• Participants who do not meet the minimum volume requirement will not be eligible for prizes, regardless of their volume ranking
• This requirement ensures participation of serious traders and prevents micro abuse or one-off YOLO trades
5. Scoring and Rankings
5.1. Rankings are determined by TOTAL USD TRADED VOLUME:
5.2. This scoring method:
• Ranks traders by their total USD traded volume during the competition
• All instruments count toward your total volume (forex, indices, commodities, crypto)
• Minimum $1,000,000 USD volume required to qualify for prizes
• Prevents micro abuse and one-off YOLO trades while remaining accessible to serious traders
• Top traders typically exceed $60M+ in volume
5.3. Volume Calculation:
• Only CLOSED trades during the competition period are counted toward volume
• Both buy and sell trades count toward your total volume
• Hedged or offset positions (opposite positions on the same instrument) are excluded
• Open positions at competition end are NOT counted - you must close trades to have them count
5.4. Positive PnL Requirement:
• Participants must finish the competition period with a positive net PnL (in profit) to be eligible for prizes
• Volume alone is not sufficient - you must be profitable to win
• This ensures winners demonstrate genuine trading skill, not just high-frequency activity
5.5. The leaderboard will be updated regularly throughout the Competition Period.
5.6. In case of a tie, the participant who achieved the volume first will be ranked higher.
6. Prizes
6.1. Live Account Championship prizes:
- 1st Place: Cash Prize - R 35 000 deposited to trading account
- 2nd Place: Travel Voucher - R 25 000
- 3rd Place: iPhone 16 - Valued at R 20 000
- 4th Place: Wellness Smartwatch - Valued at R 10 000
- 5th Place: Advanced Trading Course - Valued at R 7 000
6.2. Demo Account Challenge prizes:
- 1st Place: R 2 000 Trading Capital deposited to a new live account
- 2nd Place: R 750 Trading Capital deposited to a new live account
- 3rd Place: R 250 Trading Capital deposited to a new live account
6.3. Total prize pool value: Over R 100 000
6.4. Each participant is eligible to win a MAXIMUM of ONE (1) prize.
6.5. Prizes are not transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash, except as provided in Section 7.
7. Prize Fulfillment and Substitution
7.1. Prize Delivery:
• Physical prizes will be shipped to the winner's verified residential address
• International shipping may incur additional costs borne by the winner
• Shipping timeframes are estimates and not guaranteed
• The Company is not liable for delays, loss, or damage during shipping
7.2. Prize Substitution:
• If a prize is unavailable due to supply constraints or discontinuation, the Company may substitute
it with a prize of equal or greater value at its sole discretion
• Winners may opt to receive the equivalent prize value as a credit to their trading account
• Account credits will be applied within five (5) business days of winner confirmation
7.3. Demo Challenge Prizes:
• Trading capital prizes (R 2 000, R 750, R 250) will be deposited to new verified live accounts
• Winners must complete account verification to receive the prize
• Trading capital is subject to standard trading terms and withdrawal conditions
7.4. Tax Liability:
• ALL taxes, duties, levies, and other governmental charges related to prize receipt are the SOLE
responsibility of the winner
• Winners may be required to complete tax documentation before prize release
8. Winner Selection and Notification
8.1. Winner Selection Process:
• Winners are determined by final USD traded volume ranking at competition end
• Rankings are calculated on January 10, 2026 at 23:59 SAST
• The Company's records of trading activity shall be deemed conclusive
8.2. Winner Notification:
• Winners will be announced publicly during January 2026
• Winners will be notified via their registered email address within five (5) business days
• Winners must respond within fourteen (14) calendar days to claim their prize
• Failure to respond within the specified timeframe will result in prize forfeiture
8.3. Winner Verification:
• Winners must verify their identity and account ownership before prize release
• The Company reserves the right to request additional documentation
• Prizes will not be released until verification is complete
9. Company Rights and Modifications
9.1. The Company reserves the absolute right to:
• Amend, modify, suspend, or terminate the Championship at any time
• Disqualify any participant for violation of these Terms
• Disqualify any participant engaging in fraudulent, manipulative, or abusive trading behavior
• Modify prize offerings, values, or substitutions
• Extend or shorten the Competition Period
• Make final and binding decisions on all matters relating to the Championship
9.2. Anti-Fraud and Abuse:
• The Company employs sophisticated monitoring systems to detect fraudulent activity
• Any attempt to manipulate rankings through wash trading, account collusion, or other prohibited activities will result in immediate disqualification
• The Company may suspend or terminate trading accounts found engaging in fraudulent activity
9.3. Fair Play Policy:
The following trading practices are STRICTLY PROHIBITED and will result in immediate disqualificat:
• Wash Trading: Executing trades with yourself or affiliated accounts to artificially inflate trading volume
• Hedging Abuse: Opening opposite positions on the same instrument to cancel out risk and artificially maintain rankings
• Arbitrage Exploitation: Exploiting price discrepancies between platforms or accounts for unfair advantage
• Account Collusion: Coordinating trades with other participants to manipulate rankings
• Multiple Account Abuse: Participating with more than one account in the same competition track
• Order Manipulation: Placing orders with the intent to mislead other participants or manipulate prices
10. Liability Disclaimers and Limitations
10.1. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Company SHALL NOT be liable for:
• Technical failures, system errors, or connectivity issues affecting participation
• Trading losses incurred during the Competition Period
• Delays, loss, or damage to prizes during shipping or delivery
• Quality, performance, or suitability of prizes for any particular purpose
• Tax liabilities or governmental charges incurred by winners
• Any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from Championship participation
10.2. Force Majeure:
• The Company is not liable for failure to perform obligations due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control
10.3. Prizes are provided "AS IS" without any warranties, express or implied.
11. Regulatory Compliance and Governing Law
11.1. This Championship is conducted in accordance with South African law and regulations.
11.2. The Company operates under the supervision of the Financial Sector Conduct Authority (FSCA).
11.3. These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
11.4. Any disputes arising from this Championship shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of South African courts.
11.5. This Championship is void where prohibited or restricted by law.
12. Publicity and Data Usage
12.1. By participating, winners consent to the use of their name, city of residence, and photograph
for promotional purposes without additional compensation, except where prohibited by law.
12.2. Leaderboard rankings may display masked participant identifiers publicly.
12.3. All participant data will be handled in accordance with the Company's Privacy Policy and applicable
data protection regulations.
